Abigayle

I was raised in a small town in southwest Wisconsin and moved to Madison six years ago. After spending time in Argentina and the U.S. getting tattooed, I came to work at Blue Lotus in 2023. I completed my apprenticeship here, and I am grateful for the kind and talented artists here who have taught me so much.


My main interests for styles are illustrative, semi-realism, blackwork, and American traditional, with all these styles primarily in black and grey. I love doing themes like florals, animals (specifically birds, fish, livestock), weapons, gothic iconography, and decorative ornamentals. My designs are largely inspired by my experiences growing up in rural Wisconsin. I am always open to custom designs, and I would especially love to do customs in any of these styles.


If I’m not in the studio tattooing or drawing flash, I’m likely spending my time at a park, taking my dog for a long walk, or sitting on a patio with friends. Other artistic endeavors I enjoy outside of drawing include collaging, book binding, and glass mosaics. I look forward to being able to share my art with you!
