II was born and raised in southwest Wisconsin and moved to Madison about five years ago for university. After realizing school wasn’t for me, I started working different jobs around Madison until I landed a counter staff position at Blue Lotus Tattoo and The Piercing Lounge just shy of a year ago. After 8 months of working with so many amazing people, I was offered an apprenticeship and here I am now!

 My free time is mostly spent with my dog going on walks and playing fetch and working on drawings in different styles, with specific interest in doing more black and grey work, American traditional, and Japanese neo-traditional styles. I really enjoy gardening in the summer and snowboarding in the winter, and I’ve convinced myself recently to get into birdwatching. I’m also a big fan of local live music. 

 

 I’ve gotten to meet so many wonderful people so far as I continue my apprentice tattoos, and I’m excited to see what this career brings me!
