COVID-19 Policies

What to expect the day of your appointment:

  • Face Masks or Coverings are optional in all common areas.  Each practitioner reserves the right to require a face covering in their individual workspace.  Please see artist/piercer profiles for their preferences.  If you are unable or unwilling to wear a face mask for any reason, including doctors exemption, we will happily reschedule your appointment for a later time when you are able to wear a mask for the protection of our staff, their families and our community. 

  • Voluntary proof of vaccination may be required by some of our practitioners.  Please see individual artist/piercer profiles for their preferences. 

  • Do NOT enter if you are sick, have been sick, or have been around anyone who has been sick with COVID-19 symptoms or otherwise; or have traveled via plane, cruise line, train or intercity bus in the past 14 days, please contact the studio to reschedule your appointment. Your deposit will still be honored.

  • Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure adequate time to complete any necessary paperwork.

  • Please only bring essential items with you to your appointment.  It is recommended that you eat prior to your arrival, no food will be allowed and beverages only consumed in the lobby area.

  • We will ask you to use hand sanitizer immediately upon entering


  • You will be asked to complete our COVID-19 Informed Consent/Release Form before services will be provided.  If you don't feel comfortable answering the questionnaire, that is okay.  We just ask that you let us know & we will reschedule your appointment to a later date.


  • Everyone is expected to practice SOCIAL DISTANCING (6 ft or more from others) wherever possible.  Please be courteous of others and wait your turn.

  • If you are UNVACCINATED and have traveled via plane or cruise line in the past 14 days, we will kindly ask you to reschedule your appointment till 14 days from the date of your return.

  • If you are fully VACCINATED and have traveled via plane or cruise line domestically in the past 7 days, you will be asked to voluntarily provide proof of vaccination to receive services immediately or be considered unvaccinated.  (Fully vaccinated would be defined as 14 days after you receive the administration of your last dose.)

  • If you are fully VACCINATED and have traveled via plane or cruise line internationally in the past 7 days, we will kindly ask you to reschedule your appointment till 7 days from the date of your return along with voluntary proof of vaccination or be considered unvaccinated.

  • A deposit will be required for all tattoo & piercing appointments to commission services with your artist/piercer subject to our normal deposit policy. The deposit will be applied towards your tattoo or piercing the day of services. All consultations are free.

  • Each artist/piercer reserves the right to implement stricter limitations and guidelines within the confines of their individual space than what BLT policy indicates or advertises if they are not comfortable relaxing recommendations for their personal safety and their families.  For example, they may not allow guests, require masks and/or voluntary proof of vaccination. No tattoo artist/piercer will be allowed to relax restrictions to a greater extent than what BLT policy stipulates.  Please refer to individual artist profiles for their preferences and requirements.

  • We reserve the right to request voluntary proof of vaccination for any procedure.  We also reserve the right to refuse to perform any procedure with or without proof of vaccination.  It is recommended that you arrive prepared to provide proof of vaccination.

  • The courtesy of full attendance is appreciated if you choose to have a  Video Consultation in order to maximize our time together with effective communication.  This is a professional meeting with the same level of manners extended as if we were actually in your company.  We will be happy to reschedule for a time more convenient if you are otherwise distracted such as:  using bathroom facilities, grocery shopping, driving, under the influence of/or actively partaking in alcohol/drugs.​

  • Please be courteous of others and wait your turn.  Our team is working hard to make sure no one is missed and everyone receives the one-on-one attention they deserve.  ​

  • All Sales are FINAL.  No returns, refunds or exchanges including custom orders.  Please see our Policies, Terms and Conditions page for more details.  


  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.  Policies are subject to change without notice.
