You must be 18 years old to obtain a piercing without the consent of your legal guardian. Minors 17 and younger may receive certain piercings with the consent of their legal guardian. The youngest age that we currently offer piercings for is 7 years old, restrictions apply*. *Please see the "ID and Age Requirements" page under the FAQ tab for more info. *Anyone caught using a fake ID will have the ID confiscated. • How old do you have to be to enter the shop?
Minors under the age of 18 will not be allowed entry for services, unless accompanied by a legal parent/guardian. Proof of age will be required. Minors ages 16-17 are allowed as a guest of someone receiving services with proof of a valid government ID or passport. Minors under the age of 16 are only allowed in the shop if the minor specifically has a piercing appointment for themselves. They will not be allowed entry to accompany any other party receiving services. This is not our policy, this is state law. This includes young children and infants. We can not be liable for any hazards to young children. Due to the sensitive and permanent nature of the work being done here, we need to avoid any unexpected screams or other distractions an unaware child may cause. We also want to avoid exposing children to any imagery that parents may feel is inappropriate. No exceptions will be made. We apologize for any inconvenience to parents and babysitters. Please see our full minor policy under the tab Policies, Terms & Conditions

  • How do I care for my piercing or tattoo?
Never use rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide on a piercing or tattoo. The body is a complex organism and each person reacts differently, therefore troubleshooting over the phone or email can be difficult. Aftercare questions and concerns can be better answered in person. Please feel free to stop by any of our locations and talk with one of our many professionals. We sell aftercare for both piercings and tattoos at each location.
  • Do you reuse your needles?
All the needles we use are single-use and are disposed of properly after each procedure in sharps containers located in each professional’s station. Needles are either sent to us pre-sterilized or they are sterilized in-house in our steam autoclave which is routinely cleaned, tested, and maintenance. We never reuse needles!
  • How do you sterilize your equipment?
We use an autoclave, located at each of our studios. Autoclaves use pressurized steam as their sterilization agent. The basic concept of an autoclave is to have each item sterilized by coming in direct contact with steam at a specific temperature and pressure for a specific amount of time. Ours are cleaned every two weeks and is given a spore test once a month. Biological indicators, or spore tests, are the most accepted means of monitoring sterilization because they assess the sterilization process directly by killing known highly resistant microorganisms (e.g., Geobacillus or Bacillus species). The results of our spore tests are kept on site and can be viewed by anyone who is interested.
  • Can my friends watch?
To maintain a calm relaxed environment only one friend is allowed to observe a piercing or tattoo. They must be at least 16 years old with a form of valid government-issued ID.
