Tattoo Policies

Deposit Terms

  • All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Your deposit is applied to the final cost of your tattoo and covers the artist’s prep, research, and design time.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • 72+ hours' notice is required to reschedule your appointment.

  • Rescheduling with less than 72 hours' notice is considered a cancellation, and your deposit will be forfeited.

  • No-call, no-shows will result in deposit forfeiture, and you must pay half of your original price quote to book a new appointment.

Artist Departure

  • If your artist leaves, you have the following options:

    • 45 days from their last day to request a refund.

    • 4 months to transfer your deposit to another artist at Blue Lotus Tattoo & The Piercing Lounge.

  • This policy does not apply to piercing service deposits.

Guest Artists & Independent Contractors

  • Deposits for Guest Artists and Independent Contractors are handled directly with them.

  • Blue Lotus Tattoo & The Piercing Lounge is not responsible for refunds, transfers, or pre-paid services with a Guest Artist or Independent Contractor.

Additional Requirements

  • Some artists may require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a doctor’s exemption. If you arrive without the required proof, your appointment will be rescheduled, and your deposit forfeited.

  • Clients must be 18+ years old. If you misrepresent your age, your deposit is non-refundable.

  • Reference images must be emailed to your artist at least 48 hours before your appointment. Failure to do so may result in rescheduling.

Touch-Ups

Eligibility for Free Touch-Ups

  • One free touch-up is included within three months of your original tattoo, with the same artist who did the tattoo.

  • Blue Lotus Tattoo & The Piercing Lounge reserves the right to determine if a touch-up is necessary—not all tattoos require one.

How to Request a Touch-Up

  • If you believe your tattoo needs a touch-up, visit the shop so your original artist can assess if one is needed.

Touch-Up Fees & Restrictions

  • Touch-ups by a different artist: A shop minimum fee + the new artist’s hourly rate will apply.

  • Late cancellations/reschedules: If you cancel or reschedule your touch-up with less than 48 hours' notice, you will be charged the regular price for the service.

Guest Tattoo Artist Services

  • No free touch-ups are provided for tattoos done by a Guest Tattoo Artist.

  • If a touch-up is requested for a tattoo done by a Guest Tattoo Artist, a fee of at least the shop minimum + the new artist’s hourly rate will apply.
